November 30, 2012 "Graphic Detail" # 185: Glenn Greenberg returns for his record-setting 25th appearance to discuss his article "Tabloid Team-Ups: The Giant-Size DC-Marvel Crossovers," published in Back Issue Number 61.



November 23, 2012 An epic-length show, celebrating the 49th anniversary of "Doctor Who." Features include an exclusive interview with actor Paul McGann recorded at I-Con 31. Then, the Destinies Radio Theater presents the full version of the Eighth Doctor's first audio adventure, "Storm Warning." The Destinies Soundtrack Spotlight shines on Alistair Lock's score for "Storm Warning." Plus, Elisabeth Sladen and Nicholas Courtney present a retrospective of the first "30 Years" of "Doctor Who" with a 1993 BBC radio documentary.



November 16, 2012 The Destinies Radio Theater presents a 71-year flashback. When the killing of a notorious gambler is at the center of a web of murders that baffles even the police, only Lamont Cranston's invisible alter-ego can solve "The Case of the Three Frightened Policemen," as originally aired on the November 16, 1941 episode of "The Shadow."



November 9, 2012 Saluting the release of "Skyfall" and 50 years of James Bond in films, the Destinies Soundtrack Spotlight shines on John Barry's score for the 1969 007 movie, "On Her Majesty's Secret Service." The Destinies Radio Theater presents an adaptation of the Bond's first cinematic outing, "Dr. No." Plus, Christopher DeFilippis reviews the latest novels by Jeffrey E. Barlough and Glen Hirshberg in volume 2, number 131 of "DeFlip Side."

November 2, 2012 Destinies joins in WUSB's Hip-Hop Marathon with a sampling of nerdcore rap. Tony Goldmark laments about "Tech Support," The Great Luke Ski performs "What's Up Spock?," and Logan Whitehurst and the Junior Science Club sing the praises of "Robot Cat." Then, at the I-Con 27 Cabaret, Devo Spice of Sudden Death performs "Pillagers," "Blood, Guts, and Boobs," and "My Atari."

And, continuing the celebration of the 25th anniversary of "The Princess Bride," director Rob Reiner reads part 2 of William Goldman's original novel on the Destinies Audiobook Sampler.


September 21, 2012 A Destinies Audiobook Sampler Double Feature kicks off the Voice of Science Fiction's Fall Radiothon 2012 efforts. Learn more about the powers behind Mega City One as Ted Maynard reads part two of the novelization of "Judge Dredd." And, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the movie "The Princess Bride," director Rob Reiner reads part one of William Goldman's original novel.


September 14, 2012 In memory of actor Michael Clarke Duncan, the Destinies Soundtrack Spotlight shines on Thomas Newman's score for "The Green Mile," the film which earned Duncan an Oscar nomination. And, to prepare for the release of "Dredd 3D," the Destinies Audiobook Sampler presents part one of the novelization of "Judge Dredd," read by Ted Maynard.
September 7, 2012 Continuing the two-part memorials for astronaut Neil Armstrong and composer Joel Goldsmith. Boyd Gaines reads chapter one of James R. Hansen's authorized biography, "First Man: The Life Of Neil A. Armstrong" on the Destinies Audiobook Sampler. President Kennedy's inspiring speech and Rick Armstrong's memories of his father and the launch of Apollo 11 are featured in the introduction for "First Man: The Life of Neil A. Armstrong" on the Destinies Audiobook Sampler. Plus, a digitally-remastered encore of a phone interview with composer Joel Goldsmith featuring music from his scores for "Kull the Conqueror," "Stargate: Atlantis," and "Witchblade.

August 3, 2012 Brian Krey reviews Tracy Hickman's new hardcover Batman novel "Wayne of Gotham." The Destinies Radio Theater celebrates the 50th anniversary of "The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm" with part one of the original soundtrack album, featuring dialogue and music from the film.

July 20, 2012 In honor of the 43rd anniversary of the first moon landing, the Destinies Soundtrack Spotlight shines on Murray Gold's score for the two-part "Doctor Who" story "The Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon." Christopher DeFilippis describes his trip through the Bermuda Triangle in volume 2, number 127 of "DeFlip Side." Saluting the release of "The Dark Knight Rises," the Destinies Radio Theater presents "The Joker's Revenge" from the 1966 album "The Official Adventures of Batman and Robin."

Christopher DeFilippis discusses his passion for old-time radio and radios in volume 2, number 126 of "DeFlip Side." Plus, selections from "Dark Shadows: The 30th Anniversary Collection," in memory of actor Jonathan Frid, who died at age 87 on April 14th.


June 22, 2012 Part two of the Boogie Knights interview, recorded at WUSB during I-Con 21. In this installment, the members of the medieval filk group select and introduce their personal choices from their first two CDs, "Oh, The Horror," and "Cavalier Attitude."
