January 2, 2004 The Destinies Film Review Team (Howard Margolin, Jim Rowland, Steve Lowenthal, Christopher DeFilippis) assembles live to discuss their favorite and least favorite science fiction, fantasy, adventure, and horror movies of 2003.
January 9, 2004 The Destinies Radio Theater presents a 52-year flashback, with an adventure of "The Lone Ranger," originally heard on January 9, 1952. Deputy sheriff Paulsen tries to profit from the right-of-way negotiations between a railroad representative and rancher "Brimstone Brewster." The railroad needs Brewster's land. Paulsen is going to have to serve the eviction notice. He traps Brewster's wife after framing the rancher for murder.
March 5, 2004 "Graphic Detail" # 148: Live telephone interview with artist Steve Rude, who previews his Dark Horse Comics series "The Moth," and speaks about his career highlights, including "Nexus," "World's Finest," "The Incredible Hulk Vs. Superman," and unique paintings featuring Wonder Woman.
April 9, 2004 Live phone interview with author James Maxey, who discusses and reads from his novel "Nobody Gets The Girl." Plus, music from "Blade" and "Marvel Comics' X-Men 2: Clone Wars." And, Robert O'Reilly and Dwight Schultz present season 4 trivia in Phil Farrand's "Nitpicker's Fun and Games for Next Generation Trekkers."
May 14, 2004 Nana Visitor discusses the first season episode "Ghost in the Machine" in an installment of "The Unofficial X-Files Companion," by N.E. Genge. At the I-Con 23 Cabaret, Performances Coordinator Rachel introduces Director of Programming Kerry Skadl, who, in turn, introduces Master of Ceremonies Vlad Tsepis from "Ghoul-A-Go-Go," who welcomes the audience and introduces the first act, a capella filksinger Adam Goss.
May 21, 2004 Live telephone interview with author Scott Nicholson, who makes his second appearance to discuss and read from his novel "The Harvest," and talk about stories from his anthology "Thank You For The Flowers."
May 28, 2004 Christopher DeFilippis tells the story of his unfinished novel "Tears of the Messiah" in volume 2, number 34 of "DeFlip Side." Actor Vaughn Armstrong performs a set of "Star Trek" songs at the I-Con 23 Cabaret.
June 11, 2004 Christopher DeFilippis discusses the state of genre television in volume 2, number 35 of "DeFlip Side." "Ghoul-A-Go-Go's" Vlad Tsepis introduces Chase Masterson, who performs a set of jazz standards at the I-Con 23 Cabaret with special guest Vaughn Armstrong.
June 18, 2004 Destinies' 6th annual Science Fiction Blues Special, featuring music by Bill Champlin (from the soundtrack of "Nightmare Café"), Bill Mumy, Julie Caitlin Brown, Jim Byrnes, Vaughn Armstrong, Chase Masterson, the Brobdingnagian Bards, and Louis Armstrong (from the soundtrack of "Cosmos").
July 9, 2004 The Destinies Film Review Team (Howard Margolin, Christopher DeFilippis, and Glenn Greenberg) swings in for a live review of "Spider-Man 2." How does this movie fare as a sequel to one of the best super-hero films ever made? Was it really necessary for Spider-Man to unmask as many times as he did? How does Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus compare as a villain to Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin? And what is the movie worth on the famous Destinies $0.00-7.50 Rating Scale?
August 6, 2004 The Destinies Radio Theater presents the Justice League of America in "The Lunar Invaders," written by Marv Wolfman. When Moonbase Peace suffers an attack, seemingly launched from the Justice League satellite, the JLA breaks into two teams, to investigate on the moon and within the satellite itself.
August 20, 2004 The Destinies Soundtrack Spotlight shines on Jerry Goldsmith's score for "Looney Tunes: Back In Action." Christopher DeFilippis discusses the "Stranger than Fiction" history of Count Cagliostro in volume 2, number 37 of "DeFlip Side." Vlad Tsepis introduces the science fiction improvisational troupe X Plus One at the I-Con 23 Cabaret.
August 27, 2004 Jerry Goldsmith Memorial featuring part one of his concert conducting the New York Filmharmonic Orchestra at Carnegie Hall on 10/4/98. Selections include his "Fanfare for Oscar," and music from "Star Trek: First Contact" and "Poltergeist."
September 3, 2004 Part 2 of the Jerry Goldsmith Memorial Concert, featuring Goldsmith conducting the New York Filmharmonic Orchestra in suites from "Planet of the Apes," "Rudy" and "Hoosiers" recorded at Carnegie Hall on October 4, 1998.
November 12, 2004 "Graphic Detail" # 150: Live, unedited telephone interview with comics and science fiction historian Jerry Weist, author of "100 Greatest Comic Books."
November 19, 2004 Christopher DeFilippis provides some thoughts on Thanksgiving and what science fiction fans should be thankful for in Volume 2, Number 40 of "DeFlip Side." Remembering astronaut Gordon Cooper (3/6/27-10/4/04) with an audio transcript of his 1963 Faith 7 flight from the LP "To the Moon: The Story in Sound." The Brobdingnagian Bards perform "Angel's Lament," "Do Virgins Taste Better," and "Jedi Drinking Song" at the I-Con 23 Cabaret, introduced by Vlad Tsepis.
December 10, 2004 The Destinies Soundtrack Spotlight shines on John Debney's score for "Elf." Christopher DeFilippis speaks of the darker side of the origins of Santa Claus in volume 2, # 41 of "DeFlip Side." Col. Steve Austin meets "The Toymaker" in a Christmas adventure of "The Six Million Dollar Man."
December 24, 2004 "Graphic Detail" # 151: The Graphic Detail (Howard Margolin, Jim Rowland, Steve Lowenthal) reviews the best, worst, and most disappointing developments in the comic book industry for 2004.
December 31, 2004 The Voice of Science Fiction rings in the new year with a retrospective of the year in film and filk music, including cues from "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow," "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," "Around the World in 80 Days," "Spider-Man 2," "Thunderbirds," "Van Helsing," "Van Helsing: The London Assignment," and songs by Emerald Rose and Voltaire.
